FAQs
Q. What is the difference between the Original Assessment and the Simulated Business Assessment?
A. The assessments based on the Simulated Business created by Precision Group are superior to the original assessments because:
• The simulated business accessed through the Precision Group website. Candidates log on and move through the user friendly environment to access simulations of the business that they require in completing their assessment. The access cost is included in the purchase price of the Candidate Pack and accessible for six months from first log on.
• They can be used equally for students or employed Candidates. The employed Candidate simply use their organisation while those without employment use the simulated business.
• They have a designated area for Assessors to contextualise the assessment to the Candidate, industry and employer need and further space on the recording sheet for noting results of the contextualised tasks.
• They assess each performance criteria while still being holistic.
• They each contain a complete RPL Pack.
• If, at audit the assessment tool if found to be lacking, you may provide the Auditor’s name and phone number and a copy of the report relating to the assessment to PGA. We will pursue the issue with the Auditor and make changes to make the assessment acceptable if we can. We will then replace your copies with new copies.

Q. How can I pay for my order?
A. We have the facilities to receive credit card, EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) or cheque payments.
Q. Will the assessment meet audit?
A. The new assessment has been edited by an Independent Quality Consultant so we are confident that they will meet audit requirements.
If you have difficulty with an audit, and this difficulty relates specifically to the assessment tool, call or email Jane (jane@precisiongroup.com.au or 0424 612 706) and provide her with:
• A copy of the report where it relates to the assessment
• The name and contact number of the auditor.
Jane will contact the auditor, and if changes are able to be agreed, you will be sent replacement copies of the assessment tool at no cost.
This only applies to the new assessments, not the original version.
Q. We are looking at adding some new qualifications to our scope and to do this we need to supply copies of Assessment Tools with our application. I am hoping that you are able to send me electronic copies in PDF so that we can proceed ASAP with our application.
A. As we are a small organisation we do not offer electronic copies of our material unless it is in the form of a licence and at present are unable to offer this service.
Q. Does the use of the IELTS work book verify or qualify the Learner as competent or qualified at the level they have completed?
A. If the Learner has comfortably completed the book on their own, without assistance, a provider can be confident that the Learner is capable at that level. If a formal qualification is sought, an official IELTS Testing Centre may be approached and an appointment made. These can be found by Googling IELTS Testing Centre and the city where you wish to take it.
